TEACHER
As a teacher, Michael is an adjunct professor at the NYU Innovation Studio and sought after acting teacher in NYC as part of the Patrick Page Acting Studio. His pedagogical practice focuses on the democratization of access to technology and innovation throughout the world.
His work as an educator spans partnerships with the Office of the Dalai Lama to UNHCR as a mentor to future innovators and refugees worldwide. He has been a leading teacher in Generative AI to organizations such as L’Oreal, Stability AI, and the United Nations IOM. As the co-founder of Zuckerberg Institute, Michael led thousands of high school students through entrepreneurial and innovation curriculums to help save over 30 small businesses across the USA. In addition, he has a long career of working and supporting refugees both in Dadaab Refugee Camp in northeastern Kenya, Nairobi, and Dharamsala, India.
His teaching with Theater Mitu includes workshops in Whole Theater in India, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, and Abu Dhabi, and a frequent guest lecturer at universities around the world : including Cairo University, University of Toronto, West Point, University of Cincinnati, among others.
Currently, Michael teaches some of the leading creators in the world how to build and scale their communities as a Community Strategist at Mighty Networks.
