TEACHER

As a teacher, Michael has served as an instructor at NYU, in addition to being a guest lecturer at NYU Abu Dhabi, Cairo University, University of Toronto, University of Cincinnati, among others.

His work as an educator spans partnerships with the Office of the Dalai Lama to UNHCR as a mentor to future innovators and refugees worldwide. As the co-founder of Zuckerberg Institute, Michael led thousands of high school students through entrepreneurial and innovation curriculums to help save over 30 small businesses across the USA. In addition, he has a long career of working and supporting refugees both in Dadaab Refugee Camp in northeastern Kenya, Nairobi, and Dharamsala, India.

As a theater artist, alongside his mentor Patrick Page, he has taught hundreds of young artists as the co-founder of the Patrick Page Studio. His teaching with Theater Mitu includes workshops in Whole Theater in India, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, and Abu Dhabi.

Currently, Michael leads HUG Studios - where he educates thousands of students to become creative entrepreneurs on the forefront of arts and innovation.
